Brian Langton

On 14th April former student Brian Langton visited to take part in our Centenary Year Interviews.

Brian was a student at the College in the late 1950's to early 1960's

Brian had a long career in politics. In 1971 he was elected to Kogarah Council where he served for 12 years.

In 1983 Brian was elected to State Parliment as Member for Kogarah. He served continuously in that role for 16 years, including stints as Minister for Transport and Tourism as well as Minister for Fair Trading.

Brian left parliment at the 1999 election. He is currently Chairman of Sydney Ferries.
