Family Connections

Over the years a number of families have had connections with the College through a number of generations. As part of our centenary celebrations some of these families have been interviewed.

bradleyThe Bradley Family

The Bradley Family has connections with the College going back to 1966, when Mick Bradley commenced in Year 5.

Mick completed his HSC in 1974.Since that time three of his sons have come to the school.

On May 7th Mick and two of his sons, Dean and Jarrod were interviewed as part of our centenary celebrations. This interview can be seen on the YouTube Centenary Channel by following this link.

ifflandThe Iffland Family

Of all the families currently connected with the College the Ifland Family is the one that has the longest connection that we have been able to find. Loretta Iffland is currently a member of the College's teaching staff. Her Grandfather Martin Iffland was a student at the College in the late 1930's and early 1940's. His grandfather Martin O'Leary was presented with a book from the Marist Brothers at the College with an inscription dated 1913. Martin Iffland has kindly donated this to the College and it is now contained in our archieve display.

On 8th May Loretta interviewed her grandfather as part of centenary celebrations. This interview can be seen on the Centenary YouTube Channel by following this link.
