Lola Ryan

lryanOf all current staff members, it is Lola whose association with the College is the longest.

Lola's association with the College began with organising fund raising for the Parents and Friends Association. This work was undertaking on a voluntary basis at a time when fundraising in Catholic Schools was essential for the establishment of new facilities demanded by changing curriculum.

At a later stage Lola was offered paid employment by the then principal Br. John O'Brien. This was in the role of Assistant to the Religious Education Coordinator. This is a role that Lola still holds two days a week. She works another two days each week as assistant to the Hospitality Department.

The College is blessed to have had such a long association with such a wonderful woman. No history of the College would be complete without a recognition of the remarkable contribution that this wonderful woman has made to all members of the Marist Kogarah community over the past 35 years.
