Mr. Mal Tolley
Mal is the longest serving member of the current teaching staff.
After many years teaching both in Australia and overseas, Mal came to Marist Brother's High School, Kogarah in 1979.
He was appointed the school's first Industrial Arts co-ordinator.
For the next 25 years he managed a department that grew in size. For many years the department moved from one location to another.
In 2000 Mal was finally able to move his department into purpose built rooms in the new Roberts Building.
After thirty years in the College there are two generations of students that have benefited from Mal's contribution. He is indeed one of the pioneers of the "modern" Kogarah.
